ABOUT THE ARTIST
Champ Burleson is an abstract artist based in Yukon, Oklahoma, known for creating vibrant, one-of-a-kind works using alcohol inks on plexiglass. For more than a decade, he has explored the unique qualities of this medium, embracing its fluid movement, layered transparency, and unpredictable nature.
Working with alcohol inks allows Champ to create pieces that are impossible to duplicate. Each work develops through a balance of technique and spontaneity, with color, light, and motion playing a central role in the creative process. The interaction between ink and plexiglass creates depth and luminosity that continually changes depending on the viewing angle and surrounding light.
